Home Office Conversion from Small Outbuilding

Interior of Home Office with Barrel Vaulted Roof, Clerestory Windows and Low Voltage Cable Lighting

This was a small (12’ x 16’) concrete block shed with concrete floor. It was transformed into a snazzy little home office or art studio. The clerestory windows were added with a new barrel-vaulted roof.

Interior cabinets and counters were built and installed to create a cozy home office and part time craft room. This was a transformation of epic proportions, considering how small it started from. The original building had no power or decent windows. The door was a piece of plywood and the original roof was pitched with tar paper to keep out as much rain as possible. The client was so happy with the architect designed ADU that turned an eyesore into a special space that adds value to the property.
